Event Description:

Our Feb. 25 luncheon will feature a presentation by TwylaBeth Lambert, Senior Editor for Employee Communications, at Mary Kay Inc., on the topic "Are You Having an Identity Crisis?: Communicators’ Roles in Creating and Managing Corporate Identity."

“Corporate Identity” is the new “Brand.” But it’s broader than a logo and tagline. (Brand always was, too.) But our corporate identity also encompasses what we say and how we do —and how our consumers, audiences and influencers feel about how we do things.

Because these external groups own their own perceptions, managing corporate identity becomes a matter of effectively engaging them in ways that shape their perceptions. For example, a recent study indicates that, more than ever, women are looking to their social circles—live and online—for product information, reviews and recommendations. We must influence the influencers, and it takes more than a great tagline on a billboard!

Ms. Lambert will talk about:

Why overlooked audiences may be significantly influencing your corporate identity in unexpected ways.

How creating a culture of communication across your audiences can magnify your message.

How you can create advocates, champions and cheerleaders where you once found disinterest or skepticism.

The Feb. 25 AWC luncheon will be held in Dallas at Cantina Laredo, 17808 Dallas Pkwy, 75287. Register by e-mailing us. Please include your name and any dietary requests. Pay cash or check at the door. The cost is $25 for members and $30 for non-members.
